Natural and rustic floral designs inspired by nature and the seasons incorporating foraged berries and, when in season, home grown flowers is Penny Petals signature style.
Over the years, I have forged strong links with local suppliers and flower growers thus helping and fueling my desire in the UK growing season to be sustainable and environmentally friendly, and reducing my carbon footprint. All flowers are wrapped in brown paper, all arrangements are created using sustainable methods, and all postal packaging is biodegradable.
Let me introduce myself, I’m Liza Penny (hence my business name, ‘Penny Petals’), I live in Crewkerne amidst the beautiful rolling Somerset countryside along with my husband, Mike and 3 daughters, Charlotte, Eleanor and Anna - and ‘Little Miss Twiglet’ my faithful feline friend!
Redundancy in lockdown gave me the treasured opportunity to pursue my dreams of becoming a florist. I spent 2 years retraining in college whilst simultaneously freelancing for weddings and working in florist shops.
Penny Petals is more than just a business, it’s a way of spreading happiness through flowers.
